Husøy Church (Solund) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Husøy Church (Solund)
Husøy Church ((ノルウェー語:Husøy kyrkje)) is a parish church in Solund Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. It is located in the village of Kolgrov, on the western coast of the island of Ytre Sula. The church is part of the Solund parish in the Nordhordland deanery in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white, wooden church was built in 1896 by the architect Peter Andersen. The church seats about 174 people.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Husøy kyrkje )〕 ==History== There was a chapel on the island of Utvær from the 12th century until the early 18th century. It was a part of the great parish of Evindvig. There were only a few services per year at that chapel, and it was difficult to get to in the winter. In 1718, the chapel was moved closer to the mainland. It was built on the small island of Husøy, just west of the large island of Ytre Sula. It was a small white church with a low steeple. The church site was not the greatest, since there was little soil on the rocky island in which to bury coffins, so it was eventually decided to move the church again. It was moved to the village of Kolgrov on the western coast of Ytre Sula island, where it still stands.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Kyrkjestaden Husøy )〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Kyrkjestaden Utvær )〕
